So, you’re looking at booking a party at The Pantry for afternoon tea? good stuff!
We keep Sundays available for larger bookings (minimum of 20 and maximum of 40) and we don't charge for the hire of the space! We start at 12pm and end at 2pm, if you wish we can add another hour at a cost of £35.
We've held hundreds of celebrations, birthdays, hen dos and baby showers behind our doors so know exactly what's needed to make your event run smoothly and feel special. We've created a few packages for you choose from, you'll find all the information below but please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
This package provides you with all the delicious sweet and savoury treats plus the venue between 12 and 2pm. You have the choice of a classic sit down afternoon tea or the recently more popular buffet style afternoon tea - which is where we dress the large table with all sandwiches, scones and cakes for you and guests to mingle and enjoy in a more relaxed setting. We cater for a minimum of 20 people on a Sunday and can usually extend the hire until 3pm if you require for an additional cost.

Hello party organiser, Would you like us to make your job a little easier? Of course you do! And, you'll still get all the credit! Our Nancy package has been designed to create a beautiful atmosphere and will look stunning as a backdrop for your celebration. We've decided to keep all decorations white for two reasons; the first is that it looks gorgeous in any season for any event and works perfectly with out pink and green interiors and secondly it enables you too add any colour or theme that you chose to without clashing.
*A white balloon installation, using a gold frame and balloons of varying sizes - which means you can save your fingertips struggling with tying them up! This works great as a photo back drop.
*For a baby shower we have a gold oh baby sign to hang in the middle
*White boxes containing white balloons with either BABY or LOVE
*Cute little milk bottles filled with with bunches gypsophelia (this may replaced with a flower that's in season if we cannot source it) for each of the tables.
*For a baby shower, we also have a board with blue and pink pom poms for your guests to guess!
What's a celebration without a cake?! Ok fine, its still great but if you're looking to push the boat out then we've designed 'The Betty' for you! Before you decide that this package may not be for you, please keep in mind that we don't allow outside cakes to be used for the events we hold here- think of it as bringing your own beer to your favourite pub!
*The cake is a 7” 4-layer vanilla or lemon sponge which can be either naked or full white buttercream adorned with white flowers. Please feel free to supply your own topper as required.
*20 biscuits are either vanilla, almond or lemon flavour topped with white sugar paste and embossed with ‘oh baby’ or ‘love’ or ‘happy birthday’. These are sparkled and sprinkled and displayed in bags for your guests to take home If you need more, they're priced at £1.25 each.
The cake and biscuits will be displayed on their own table with a white tablecloth. If the decoration package is purchased too, the cake and biscuit table will surrounded by small vases of the white flowers.

So, here at the Pantry we've thought of everything you'll need to make it as special as the event you're hosting. We've combined The Nancy and The Penny packages to add onto your afternoon package (The Betty), because well, obviously!
